PERIMAX 12 SERIES PUMPS

The Perimax 12 peristaltic pump is very simple to operate. The tubing is stretched around the pump head and secured at both ends in tubing brackets. The pressure against between the tubing and pump cam is adjusted via a screw on the pressure bracket. Function keys are provided for ON/OFF and RIGHT/ LEFT rotation. The rotational speed of the pump head is adjustable continuously on a 10-turn potentiometer. The digital indication (0-999) ensures a reproducible speed setting and therefore a precise flow rate. A high-speed key provides for brief operation at maximum speed, for example for fast wash-out of the tube when changing to another liquid.

The pump head consists of 12 rollers and a simple well-engineered pressure system. It can be extended up to 6 channels so that as many as 6 tubes can be fitted at the same time. Different tube diameters can be selected so that liquids can be pumped at various flow rates. The pump head can readily be removed, rotated through 90° and then fitted back into position to suit the side of the pump where the liquid is supplied or discharged.

The drive motor is fitted with a pulsing disk and photocell. In case of a change in the parameters it ensures that the speed of the roller head is maintained accurately at the set value. This arrangement results in extremely precise and reproducible setting of the liquid flow rate
