Peristaltic Pumps | SPETEC Perimax 16 Antipuls
The Perimax 16 features a pump head consisting of two half channels of 8 rollers each in which the rollers are arranged with a 180-degree phase displacement. A piece of pump tubing is inserted into each half-channel; downstream from the pump head, a Y-fitting combines the half-channels. By doing so, a peak in one half-channel is cancelled by a trough in the parallel half-channel so that the combined flow produced is completely pulsation-free. The Perimax 16/2, for example, can be operated with 2 pulse-free channels, 4 pulsating channels, or 1 pulse-free and 2 pulsating channels.
